What are Neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators are non-surgical treatments that help soften or eliminate facial wrinkles that are key signs of aging. Neuromodulators work by preventing release of the signal that causes muscle contraction. By controlling the amount and location of injections, it can limit muscle activity in a natural way. Other than cosmetic uses, neuromodulators have been shown to have many therapeutic benefits as well. Neuromodulators consistently remain one of the most common non surgical cosmetic treatments. While Botox® is the most common household brand, there various brands that deliver similar outcomes. Your consultation with Dr.McKee is the ideal time to ask questions and discuss your options.
